Airport News (November 19 - November 26) 

  • ‌Thanksgiving Travel Tips - Gobble up these tips such as arrive early, reserve a time for TSA with SEA Spot Saver or having your REAL ID ready and much more.ls with limited English proficiency have meaningful access to services, and that personal information is protected against unauthorized disclosure.
  • ‌Checkpoint 5 Updates - Clear and TSA PreCheck Touchless ID have officially moved out of Checkpoint 5. The only service that remains is TSA PreCheck

  • SEA Gateway Project
    • With Checkpoint 6 re-opened the esplanade restrooms also reopened on November 17: Amenities include a Companion Care Restroom with an adult changing table, Nursing Room, Men's Restroom, Women's Restroom, and a Water Refill station.
    • One Known Crewmember has relocated from the B Exit to the very north end of Alaska Ticketing near door 33
    • Removal of the last construction barricades in Baggage Claim near Claims 13/14 and the Lost & Found will be complete this weekend!
  • ‌App Based Rideshare Pickup (Uber/Lyft) Expansion Project
    • ‌The rideshare pickup area will be shifting near the yellow elevator bank on the Parking Garage's 3rd floor. Currently, work is predicted to go through to December.

Spotting Smiles: Meet Tuck, SEA’s Dalmatian Therapy Dog

Forrest Gump has been known to say, “Life is like a box of chocolates — you never know what you’re gonna get.” At Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), you might just get a moment of calm and a wagging tail from Tuck, a six-year-old Dalmatian and certified therapy dog, if you catch him at his normal station in the Central Terminal or roaming through the terminal with his handler Lynn Gonzalez.
